⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not only is this place beautiful, relaxing, and a hidden gem. Chuck and Adriana are what makes it feel special and welcoming. They were intentional, communicative, and served us so well. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and gave us several recommendations for places to go, urgent cares, surf reports, and things to do.
We fell in love with their cute, friendly dogs Maddie and BG! The place itself is perfect and loved being so close to the town and to the beach! It's cozy and private with a patio and you still have access to all the fun activities around! BEST PLACE EVER!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This little gem on the north shore is now my go to spot. Chuck and Adriana are one of the best hosts i've come across. The space is perfect for heading out and getting around or just chilling with the dogs who are so rad. beach chairs and umbrellas came in handy to go chill and watch the surfing every day at sunrise. I selfishly don't want my friends to know about this place so I can keep booking it for myself. Great communication, check in and out was dreamy. You really won't find a better place on the North Shore.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The perfect home base for our baby moon! So close to the North Shore with every you need around you including grocery store, restaurants, beautiful beaches and coffee. Very easy to book and communicate with A+C. They were wonderful hosts and the place had everything we needed. Although we did not cook there we do love having a fridge and the option to do so. It's a cozy place and they had beach chairs/umbrella/cooler - all that you need to beach hop everyday. You are about 35 min from city (Honolulu) depending on traffic where you can explore and then escape back to the north shore. The doggies are so well behaved and it was nice having their company when we would sit on the private patio. The outdoor shower is clutch and AC works great for when we would run it in the evenings. Would love to come back and recommend to anyone who wants to feel like a local in Oahu!

The space
Our North Shore vacation rental is newly built, separate from the main house, and has its own private entrance.
The cottage is about 400 sq. ft., with high ceilings, air conditioning, a full bath, a full kitchen, living area, outdoor patio, and an outdoor shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, large toaster oven, full refrigerator, 4-burner cooktop, coffee maker, and all the cookware and utensils you'll need to prepare meals.
The outdoor patio adds 160 sq. ft. of extra living space and comes with a gas BBQ grill, lounge chair, dining table, and umbrella for shade. The tiled outdoor shower features Travertine stone and hot water for your comfort.
The property is fully private and fenced, secured with a coded gate. Sleeping two guests, it's perfect for couples, solo travelers, or friends looking for a cozy guest house near Haleiwa.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire cottage and patio, plus our large backyard, complete with a mango tree that bears fruit in summer.
The outdoor shower is technically shared with us but remains completely private and fully functional.

Where we're located
Our vacation rental is in Waialua, just minutes from the beach and near the historic Waialua Sugar Mill.
Haleiwa Town is only a 5-minute drive (or about 10 minutes by bike), where you'll find restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. Nearby, you can explore Waimea Valley, visit the Dole Plantation, enjoy hiking trails, or ride along the bike path.
The North Shore's world-famous beaches, Waimea Bay, Pipeline, and Sunset Beach, are just 8 to 10 miles up the coast. You'll be close to some of the best surfing, snorkeling, foiling, and kitesurfing in Hawaii.

Yes, we highly recommend having a car to get around the North Shore. Public transportation is limited and ride-share services like Uber are not reliable in this area. Having a car makes it much easier to visit beaches, Haleiwa Town, and other nearby attractions at your own pace.
Yes, the area is generally calm and laid back. Nights are usually quiet compared to Honolulu. You may hear roosters in the distance and birds in the morning, which is common across much of Oahu.
We require a 50% deposit to secure your reservation, and this deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel, we keep the deposit on file and you can apply it toward a future stay within the next 2 years, based on availability. We'll also honor your original quoted rate for that rebooking.
